Role and responsibilities

In September 2021, he accepted the challenge to assume the General and Pedagogical Directorate of Colégio da Beloura.

Daily, he works with a team of high professional and human quality.

It also contributes to the growth of all children and employees with its knowledge and experience in the field of Education and Inclusive Education.

He is a member of the Pedagogical Council of Project To Be.

Curriculum

He has a degree in Basic Education (Primary School), an area he embraced from an early age out of passion and vocation. In the course of his professional life, the passion for including students with different needs in regular education classes, led him to add to his basic training, the Post-Graduation in Special Education in the Cognitive and Motor Domains, having, since then, always worked with students with special educational needs.

He began his professional career in public schools, having chosen from an early age to join private education institutions. He was part of the team at Centro Educativo e Terapêutico do Restelo, where he worked in the multi-disability unit. Later, he went to Colégio “O Papião”, having left to join the pedagogical direction of a private school. Before joining the Colégio da Beloura team, he was part of the teaching team of the first cycle of Voz do Operário da Graça, in Lisbon.

In parallel with his work in the different institutions where he has passed, throughout his many years of experience, he has been providing specialized monitoring of students with autism spectrum disorders.

Personal Note

Luís Godinho is passionate about reading and writing, with a special taste for children’s literature; enriched his professional profile with training in storytelling, carrying out various activities of this nature for audiences of different ages.

He has been practicing meditation daily for the last 17 years and is also a meditation and relaxation instructor for children.

He loves to cook, entertain and be with friends. In his life, he cannot miss contact with art and architecture, as these are also areas that he is passionate about.
